About
A simpler way to pack. A smarter way to move.
Desoto Tote Co. is a locally owned tote rental company serving Desoto County, Mississippi. We provide clean, durable, reusable totes delivered right to your door—giving our community an easier and more sustainable alternative to traditional cardboard boxes.
No hunting for boxes. No building them. No rolls and rolls of packing tape. And no mountain of cardboard to deal with when you're finished.
We deliver. You pack. We pick up.
It's that simple.
While moving may have inspired Desoto Tote Co., our totes are made for so much more. They're perfect for home renovations, temporary storage, storm cleanup, college moves, wedding and event supplies, beach vacations, organizing projects, and all those moments when life gets a little messy.
Our brand is built around three things: simplicity, sustainability, and Southern hospitality. We want every interaction with Desoto Tote Co. to feel easy, friendly, dependable, and local.
Ditch the cardboard. Pack smarter.
Our Story
Like a lot of great ideas, Desoto Tote Co. started on a trip with friends.
While Holly and Carrie were visiting friends out of state, a friend introduced them to the idea of renting reusable totes instead of relying on traditional cardboard boxes for moving, packing, and storage.
It was one of those ideas that immediately made sense.
Why were we still buying boxes, taping them together, using them once, and then trying to figure out what to do with all that cardboard afterward?
Holly and Carrie started talking about how useful a service like this could be back home in Mississippi. By the time they returned to Desoto County, they weren't just bringing home memories from the trip—they were bringing home an idea.
They shared it with their friend Kristen, and the wheels started turning.
With Holly's experience in real estate, Kristen's practical and organized nature as a nurse, and Carrie's ability to keep things running smoothly as a 911 dispatcher, the three friends realized they had an opportunity to build something that could genuinely make life easier for people in their community.
And the more we talked about it, the more possibilities we saw.
These totes weren't just for moving. They could help a family pack during a remodel, protect belongings during storm cleanup, keep wedding décor organized, make a college move easier, haul supplies to the beach, or simply bring order to one of life's many messy moments.
An idea shared between friends on a trip became an idea shared between three friends back home in Mississippi—and from there, Desoto Tote Co. was born.
We're excited to bring a service we discovered somewhere else home to the community we love.
Three friends. One great idea. Brought home to Desoto County.

Our Vision
Our vision is to make Desoto Tote Co. the go-to reusable tote rental service for Desoto County and beyond while never losing the personal service and local connection that inspired us to start.
We want to change the way our community thinks about packing and temporary storage by providing an option that's simpler, sturdier, more convenient, and more sustainable than disposable cardboard boxes.
But our vision goes beyond renting totes.
We want to build a business people feel good about supporting—a company that takes care of its customers, values its community, reduces unnecessary waste, and makes stressful moments just a little bit easier.
Whether you're moving into your dream home, renovating the one you love, preparing for your wedding, recovering after a storm, sending a child off to college, or packing the family for the beach, we want you to know there's a local team ready to help.
Three friends. One simple idea. A smarter way to pack.
